Starting from near Butuan boundary which is the municipality of Taligaman, land tripping on this province comprising fourteen (14) municipalities seven of which are along the maharlika highway beginning with Sibagat as the nearest Agusan del Sur’s municipality to Butuan City has a six (6) structural side church which we can all appreciate seeing as in the midst of green land on the 3rd class municipality-the St Anthony de Padua Parish Church.
Now before exiting Sibagat there is this bridge named Wawa situated above the river named also as Wawa river that serves as a distinct boundary mark between Sibagat proper and Bayugan. According to the old commoners there, the historic Wawa river is the hiding refuge, a place where the old native warriors of agusan run to if got outnumbered by the invading settlers who wanted to conquer but never able to do so because crossing the river for them was a suicide in those days.
Nearing and within the bridge and taking a glimpse on the right is the Andanan Wawa river Irrigation System, a watershed project to serve the irrigation and water supply system of the municipality and its neighboring barangays.
